To support its industry-leading water management platform, Phigenics partnered with UTurn Data Solutions to perform an AWS Well-Architected Review—identifying key optimizations across security, reliability, and cost that improved performance, resilience, and scalability.

The Challenge

Phigenics recently launched phiAnalytics™, a cloud-based information management system built on AWS. The platform enables healthcare, hospitality, government, and commercial organizations to monitor, document, and validate water management programs—ensuring proactive detection of Legionella and other waterborne pathogens while improving energy and water efficiency.

With the growing adoption of phiAnalytics, Phigenics wanted to:

Phigenics turned to UTurn Data Solutions to lead a Well-Architected Review (WAR) and help strengthen the foundation of its AWS environment.

The Solution

Phigenics engaged UTurn Data Solutions, an AWS Advanced Tier Consulting Partner, to perform a Well-Architected Review (WAR)—a structured evaluation of an AWS workload against the five pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework:

Phase 1: Well-Architected Review

UTurn’s AWS Pro-Certified Solutions Architects conducted a half-day assessment of the phiAnalytics workload, identifying areas where Phigenics could strengthen security, improve reliability, and reduce costs. The review concluded with a detailed findings report and a prioritized remediation roadmap—outlining actionable recommendations for each AWS pillar.
